Compliance Reports
For each monitor you will find 3 compliance reports under Menu > Monitoring:
Cookies Report
Why are there Domains in the Cookie Report, that do not belong to my website? How can vendors set cookies on my own domain?
Please note, that the domain of a cookie is the domain the cookie belongs to - it is not necessarily the same domain that was visited by the crawler. Example:
- The crawler visits www.website.com
- A script from www.analytics-vendor.com is loaded in the website
- While loading the script, the server of the analytics vendor sets a cookie. This cookie will have the domain analytics-vendor.com and is considered a 3rd Party Cookie
- Once the script is loaded, it executes in the browser and sets a cookie or local storage item via JavaScript. This cookie will have the domain website.com and is considered 1st Party Cookie.
Vendors Report
The Vendors Report will list all vendors found by the crawler. These vendors can be found either directly or indirectly on the page: Direct found vendors are identified by the URLs that are loaded (e.g. a script or iframe in the page is loaded). Indirect found vendors are identified by their behavior (e.g. a specific cookie is set). The list will show you the following data:
- Vendor ID - ID of the vendor in our system
- Vendor Name - Name of the vendor
- Type - type of the vendor (e.g. Marketing, Function and so on). In case of CMP-Monitors we will display the purpose assigned to the vendor.
- Acceptance / Rejection - Amount of cookies the vendor is setting in case when the crawler clicks on accept or reject
- Pages - Amount of pages on which the vendor was found
Each line can also be expanded in order to see more details about each vendor:
- Vendor details - Vendor address, vendor domains, privacy policy, categories of processed data and so on
- Cookies - List of cookies set by the vendor (see Cookies Report)
- Pages - List of pages the vendor was found on (see Pages Report)
Pages Report
The Pages Report will list all URLs (or domains if grouped) that has been crawled. The list will show you the following data:
- URL or domain - URL or domain that was crawled
- Last crawl - date of the last crawl
- Acceptance / Rejection - Amount of cookies and vendors found in case when the crawler clicks on accept or reject
- Cookie Banner - whether or not a cookie banner or CMP was found on that URL/domain
Each line can also be expanded in order to see more details about each page/domain:
