How can I use the CMP-Code with a TagManager?

Which code version (automatic blocking or manual/semi-automatic blocking code) you are using, is independend of the question whether or not you are using a TagManager on your website. You can use both code versions with or without having a tagmanager on your website. But: If you want to deliver the CMP code via the tagmanager you MUST use the manual/semi-automatic blocking code.

Here is an overview:

TagManager on the website No TagManager on the website
automatic blocking code You must add the automatic blocking code directly in your website code before every other third party code and cannot put the CMP-code into the tag manager. The automatic blocking can block codes that are in your website and codes that are in your tagmanager. You must add the automatic blocking code directly in your website code before every other code third party code. The automatic blocking can block codes that are in your website.
manual/semi-automatic blocking code You can add the manual/semi-automatic blocking code to your website code or put it into the tag manager. You must adjust all third party codes on your website and you must update all triggers in your tag manager. You must add the manual/semi-automatic blocking code to your website code at any place (the earlier in the code, the better it is). You must adjust all third party codes on your website.
