How do I give multiple users access to the same consentmanager account with specific permissions?
Want to invite colleagues to collaborate on the same interface without the need to share your consentmanager login credentials? Need to give specific access permissions like account settings, design, or invoices? We’ve got you covered!
Here's how you can do this with our consentmanager user feature:
How to create a user group
Please note: If you don’t need to create a user group i.e. multiple users with the same permissions, you can also skip directly to creating a single user profile without adding them to any group. For each user, the system will allow you to define permissions, like you can do with user groups.
A user group can be created to add multiple user profiles and define specific permissions for all the users in this group.
- Log into your consentmanager account and access your dashboard;
- Go to the blue sidebar (on the left side) and click on the “Account” icon at the bottom;
- Once in the section, select the “Users groups” tab;
- Click the blue “+ Create” button on the top right;
- You’ll land into the area dedicated to adding a new user group. You need to create a group and then add users to this group;
- Define a group name and select the access permissions granted to this group. For example, you can decide to give whistleblowing access only to your whistleblowing manager;
- If needed, use the toggles to customize permissions further for each topic: access to each CMP projects in your account, design, language, and more;
- Once done, hit “Create” at the bottom right to submit your user group. You’re done!
How to add new users
Now that you have created a user group, you need to add users to this group. For this, you must create new user profiles.
You can manage user groups and user profiles directly from the related sections in the sidebar, and within the page clicking on the 3 dots icon next to the user or group you want to edit or delete:
Invited user: How to access the account
- After the admin has gone through the above steps, you should receive an automated email from consentmanager asking you to set your own password (click on "Get new password");
- Once this is done, log in here with your credentials (email and newly-created password);
- That's it. You have been given specific access to the interface with your own credentials.
